Our Trip North #3

We made it to Brisbane! Our accommodation was really nice, we stayed three nights. This is a shot from the balcony.





















They also had a beautiful lagoon style pool.
We ate lunch at the pub on the corner. Really yummy food and they even had a high chair! Alright, HIGH FIVE!















The reason for our trip was to attend the wedding of our good friends Linda and Bryon. The ceremony was held here in a park by the river. It was a beautiful, warm afternoon and after the ceremony Madison and Tim played beek-a-boo around the tree.

Our Trip North #2

Our second night was spent in Tweed Heads in a caravan park. At 7am they had bird feeding. You can just see the birds sitting on the rope between the two trees.





















They also had a playground which Madison enjoyed.

Movember

A few of us at the library have decided to participate in Movember, Could this be us in one month?

Our Trip North #1

In late September we set off from Sydney for an 8 day trip to Brisbane and back.
Our first stop was Karuah, just north of Newcastle, for lunch.














Our first night was spent in Port Macquarie.
This photo was taken at a local beach, definitely not swimming weather!
But Madison was quite taken with a little crab that managed to survive plenty of attention.
You can see it at the bottom of the picture, I think it was taken by a wave soon after.


















Nature was all around us.
In the morning Madison made friends with a butterfly.




































Our next stop was Ulmarra, just north of Grafton.
It is a beautiful little town right on the river.
