Rainy Day

A few weekends ago we had a really wet Saturday. Even though it still hadn't stopped raining by late afternoon we decided it was time for a walk outside. Madison wore her new raincoat and matching gumboots. The gumboots are a little big yet and even with two pairs of socks were a bit difficult to walk in. By the end of the walk the gumboots and socks were off and she was running in the pouring rain and jumping in puddles.



















We often get visitors on our balcony, usually rainbow lorikeets, pigeons, noisy miners and currawongs but it was a rare treat to see two cockatoos so close.
