Two Kookaburras had a fight on our balcony this morning. They had each other by the beak. One has its beak poking into the forehead of the other, and the other bird has its beak in its oppositions neck. The fight attracted a large crowd of about ten other kookaburras (and our family) and went for about ten minutes until the bird with the beak in its neck lost its hold and another bird flew in to proclaim forehead bird the winner. They made a huge racket and at stages sounded like cats fighting.
